Pendant une semaine, cinéphiles ou néophytes, jeunes publics, familles et passionnés, explorent la magie du court, partout en France et à l'international, à l'occasion de cette grande fête gratuite et ouverte à tous.
Chaque année, La Fête du court métrage élabore une programmation officielle - avec le soutien de L'Agence du court métrage - pensée pour valoriser le meilleur du court, s'adresser à tous les âges et publics et mettre en avant les grand(e)s réalisateurs(rices) de demain.
Cette programmation est rendue accessible gratuitement à tout lieu ou personne souhaitant diffuser des programmes de films courts durant la période de l’évènement.
Au-delà des projections organisées partout en France et à l’international, La Fête du court métrage est aussi l’occasion d’animations, rencontres ou encore ateliers d’éducation à l’image dans plusieurs villes ambassadrices. Pour participer, échanger, fabriquer, apprendre et amener le cinéma à la portée de tous.
