The Pint of Science festival is back throughout France, for a bar crawl! This year, more than one hundred and fifty scientists come out of their labs for a beer and a conversation, to reveal
the secrets of their sciences, their projects, and their experiments to the general public in more than 50 cities in France.
Rather than a series of formal presentations in conference rooms or auditoriums, Pint of
Science aims to recreate the liveliness of popular music festivals, offering multiple stages in each
city that allow leading experts to present, discuss and answer questions about their
latest discoveries and research with the audience, all with a drink in hand. Science will be seen in its

Le festival Pint of Science est de retour dans toute la France, pour une tournée des bars ! Cette année, plus decent cinquante scientifiques sortent de leurs labo le temps d’une bière et d’une conversation, pour dévoiler
les secrets de leurs sciences, de leurs projets, et de leurs expériences au grand public dans plus de 50 villes de France.
Plutôt qu’une série de présentations formelles dans des salles de conférence, ou des auditorium, Pint of
Science vise à recréer l’animation de festivals de musique populaires, offrant de multiple scènes dans chaque
ville qui permettent à d’éminents experts de présenter, de discuter et répondre aux questions sur leurs
dernières découvertes et recherches avec le public, le tout un verre à la main. La science sera vue sous son
vrai jour, pleine d’échanges, de curiosité et de simplicité !
