Por intermédio de suas comissões técnicas, a CBIC publica estudos diversos, produzidos por especialistas de notório conhecimento, e realiza eventos multidisciplinares destinados ao debate e capacitação de dirigentes e empresários. A entidade, atualmente, reúne 85 sindicatos e associações patronais do setor da construção, presentes nas 27 unidades da Federação.
