The Mystic River Watershed Association (MyRWA) is an environmental nonprofit organization in the greater Boston, MA area. Our mission is to protect and restore the Mystic River, its tributaries and watershed lands for the benefit of present and future generations and to celebrate the value, importance and great beauty of these natural resources. We boast three distinct water quality monitoring programs which provide valuable data about the water that connects our communities. The Association also maintains a Herring Monitoring Program, Greenways Program, Water Chestnut Removal Project, and various outreach, education and advocacy initiatives.
