The Association promotes the interests of the dental profession and the well-being of Ireland's oral health.
The Irish Dental Association was established in 1922. The Association offers a wide range of educational and scientific services including publication of the Journal of the Irish Dental Association as well as organising two major educational conferences nationally each year plus as numerous regional CPD events. The Association also actively advocates for better oral health for the Irish population.
