Activate the Cure for Childhood Cancer.
The Emily Whitehead Foundation’s mission is to raise awareness and funding for innovative childhood cancer treatments, such as immunotherapy, that will improve survival rates and quality of life.
About Emily Whitehead:
Emily was the first pediatric patient enrolled in a highly experimental phase I clinical trial called CAR-T cell therapy at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and became the first child in the world to have her immune system trained to fight cancer. The experimental T-cell therapy worked and Emily is now approaching ten years cancer free.
