[Automatic translation follows] Managerial skills, innovation, culture of sharing for the NHS of tomorrow.

FIASO, the Italian Federation of Healthcare and Hospital Companies, was founded in 1998 with the aim of representing the public healthcare sector with institutions and the media. It currently brings together 150 associated companies including Local Health Authorities, Hospitals and IRCCS, which represent two-thirds of public healthcare spending.

FIASO defends the requests of its Associates in discussion tables on healthcare policy and the governance of NHS Companies. It participates in parliamentary hearings, public consultations of independent Authorities, conferences, debates and fact-finding surveys to support the point of view of the Companies with its own documents and position papers.

The scientific activity of the Federation involves the strategic directions of the Associates, the heads of technical and medical departments and important national research centers. The studies and surveys promoted by FIASO give rise to scientific publications, public conferences and participation in radio and television broadcasts. The scientific activity is accompanied by a constant commitment to training that is divided into workshops, meetings and seminars.
