Description
  • Value proposition

A world where every person will have the information they need to protect their own health and the health of others

HIFA (Healthcare Information For All) is a global social movement to improve the availability and use of healthcare information in low- and middle-income countries. It has around 20,000 members (health workers, librarians, publishers, researchers, policymakers...) from 180 countries worldwide committed to the progressive realization of a world where every person has access to the healthcare information they need to protect their own health and the health of others.

HIFA has a number of online forums. These bring together HIFA members to explore ways to improve the availability and use of healthcare information. Currently we have HIFA forums in English, French, Portuguese and recently Spanish. We also have a special forum for Zambia and for child health and rights.

Please follow us to find out what's happening on the HIFA forums and for news and information about HIFA activities. If you're interested in discussing health information, join one of our discussion forums. Joining is free and all forums are moderated. (http://www.hifa.org/forums)

In collaboration with the World Health Organization we eventually aim to have HIFA forums in all six UN languages - Arabic, Russian and Chinese as well as English, French, Spanish and Portuguese.
