Usalama Technology Limited is the parent company of the Usalama Application.

The Usalama Application is a FREE android mobile platform linking our user to emergency services. Users can send direct distress calls to emergency providers, including Ambulatory, Road-side Assistance, Security, Police and Fire. They can also send emergency messages to three predefined contacts of close family and friends. They can also The application utilizes GPS to capture your exact geographical location and relays real-time data to both your preselected contacts and emergency providers. The providers are linked to the users via web back end and android agent app. This web platform is accessible at the control center and when the person in charge accepts the distress the platform will forward the details to the nearest agent on the ground. The private for profit firms will be charged on a monthly basis based on their numbers of user using Usalama.

Usalama has multiple features:

1. CRIME DISTRESS CALL - Allows victims to communicate quickly with their next of kin.
2. TIMER - Set automated alerts if you are going to a risky location.
3. NEWS ALERTS- Location based to allow you to share and receive news on crimes and criminal activity
4. USALAMA AROUND - Allows for Usalama users to view and connect with nearby users within a 200m radius
5. WALK WITH ME - Allows multiple usalama users to keep tabs on each others position as they move.
