Value proposition

Since 1965, NORD DRIVESYSTEMS has been developing, producing and selling drive technology with today approx. 4,800 employees and is one of the leading international full-range suppliers in the industry. In addition to standard drives, NORD also supplies application-specific concepts and solutions for special requirements, for example with energy-saving drives or explosion-proof systems. The annual turnover in the 2023 financial year was 1.09 billion euros. NORD has 48 of its own subsidiaries in 36 countries and further sales partners in more than 50 countries. These offer technical advice, on-site stocking, assembly centres and customer service. NORD develops and produces a diverse range of drive solutions for over 100 industries, a range of gear units for torques from 10 Nm to over 282 kNm, supplies electric motors in the power range from 0.12 to 1,000 kW and, with frequency inverters, also manufactures the necessary power electronics up to 160 kW. Inverter solutions are available both for classic installation in the control cabinet and for decentralised and fully integrated drive units.
