MATIERE PREMIERE means "Raw Material". Our goal is to turn an ingredient into a perfume.

MATIERE PREMIERE’s fragrances are built around one natural ingredient used in high dosage. We allow its texture to be perceived and uplift its most beautiful facets.


The emphasis is on excellence in perfume quality. We select the best raw materials worldwide, giving priority to organic and fair-trade productions. We grow our own roses and tuberoses in organic farming in the Grasse region. Our fragrances come in their natural color. We let them age until the final stages of bottling, to refine their character.

The promise is an unforgettable sillage, an emotional imprint that will never fade.
