Junior Achievement (JA) Romania empowers young people to own their economic success.

Junior Achievement (JA) Romania is the largest and most dynamic Romanian organization focused on work readiness, financial literacy and entrepreneurship. Since its foundation, in 1993, JA Romania has grown continuously to offer the best educational programs for students and youth. Over the last 29 years, JA Romania has expanded its activities, reaching over 630 localities and developing the largest university entrepreneurial education program in Romania.
JA Romania’s “learning by doing” programs are attended annually by over a quarter million students from more than 1,700 schools across the country. The organization built a professional network of over 5,000 teachers who deliver the JA curriculum. The programs are developed through a formal partnership with the Ministry of Education and with the support of the business community.
JA Romania creates a bridge between the private sector, public sector and young people. Our network includes entrepreneurs, business owners, managers and executives from corporations, teachers, students and parents who work together to inspire future generations of professionals and entrepreneurs.
Through our programs we aim to prepare young people to become the entrepreneurs and the entrepreneurial thinkers of tomorrow. JA Romania’s programs, projects and competitions provide the students with real life learning experiences where they can take measured risks, manage the results and learn from the outcomes. This approach creates transformational changes that allow them to build their self-confidence, find more employment opportunities, prepare for future careers and develop into the creative, inspiring leaders they wish to be. JA Romania is a member of JA Worldwide and JA Europe.
