  • Value proposition

We help our partners to achieve health, equity & development by optimizing research & innovation.

The COHRED Group is an international non-governmental organisation, formed in 2010 as a result of a merger between the Council on Health Research for Development (COHRED) and the Global Forum for Health Research.

Our primary objective is to strengthen research for health and innovation systems, with a focus on low-and-middle-income-countries (LMIC's) to achieve equity and national development.

We use research for health and innovation in order to:

    * Improve health and reduce health inequities
    * Improve health sector performance and accountability
    * Encourage donor alignment and harmonisation
    * Link research for health with science, technology and innovation
    * Generate economic and social prosperity
