VIVE Arts is a global arts initiative that supports artists and cultural institutions experiment with immersive technologies to create ground-breaking digital art experiences. It harnesses the latest technologies to transform how culture is made, shared and experienced VIVE Arts is a pioneer in technology-led arts and culture. Since its inception in 2017, VIVE Arts has collaborated with over sixty cultural institutions, including the Louvre in Paris, the Tate Modern and the V&A in London, and the Triennale Milano in Milan. It partners with institutions to co-produce and commission creative projects that use digital tools to preserve cultural heritage, open up new forms of storytelling and engage wider audiences.
VIVE Arts envisions immersive and blockchain technologies as tools for artistic experimentation and empowers visionary artists to expand their practice in new directions. VIVE Arts has worked with leading artists such as Marina Abramovic, Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster, Cai Guo-Qiang, Albert Oehlen and Wu Tsang on their first ever VR works. VIVE Arts aims to build a rich ecology for digital innovation in the arts, supporting the development of projects from concept through to distribution. It presents work to global audiences through international exhibitions, art world events and online platforms.
