    The CIAD laboratory (Distributed Knowledge and Artificial Intelligence) is a public research laboratory under the supervision of the University of Burgundy (uB) and the University of Technology of Belfort-Montbéliard (UTBM). It is made up of approximately 70 people (Teacher-Researchers, PhD students, Engineers, Post-Doctors). Our goal is to design hybrid, distributed and explainable artificial intelligences. Our activity is made up of two parts. The first concerns research on scientific obstacles and the publication of our approaches in international journals and conferences in the field. The second concerns the development of proofs of concepts (up to TRL 7 level) based on our research results, as well as supporting companies (from start-ups to large groups and SMEs) in their technological innovation process using AI.

    Le laboratoire CIAD (Connaissance et Intelligence Artificielle Distribuées) est un laboratoire public de recherche sous la tutelle de l’Université de Bourgogne (uB) et de l’Université de Technologie de Belfort-Montbéliard (UTBM). Il est constitué d’environ 70 personnes (Enseignants-Chercheurs, Doctorants, Ingénieurs, Post-Doctorants). Notre objectif est de concevoir des intelligences artificielles hybrides, distribuées et explicables. Notre activité est formée par deux parties. La première concerne la recherche sur des verrous scientifiques et la publication de nos approches dans des journaux et conférences internationaux du domaine. La seconde concerne le développement de preuves de concepts (jusqu'au niveau TRL 7) basé sur nos résultats de recherche, ainsi que l’accompagnement d’entreprises (de la start-up au grand groupe en passant par les PME) dans leur processus d’innovation technologique utilisant de l'IA.
