"L’Outarde libérée" was born to fill a gap, and offer a cross-view to report on the news of the French in Quebec and Quebec successes in France. « L’Outarde libérée » est née pour combler un vide, et offrir un regard croisé pour rendre compte de l’actualité des Français au Québec et des réussites québécoises en France. La communauté française compte plus de 100 000 membres dans la Belle Province. La vie associative française est riche, les réussites économiques sont prestigieuses et les étudiants français arrivent toujours plus nombreux. En France, la réussite québécoise a dépassé celle de Céline Dion, et s’appelle dorénavant Xavier Dolan ou Bombardier.
Forts de ce constat, nous avons lancé ce webmagazine, pour rapprocher encore plus nos deux communautés qui ont en partage cette merveilleuse langue : le français. Nos racines communes et cette langue, mâtinées de valeurs européenne et américaines, sont un enrichissement mutuel pour nos deux pays.
Journalistes franco-québécois, nous vivons au Québec depuis plusieurs années, car nous portons cette terre francophone d’Amérique dans notre coeur. Mais nos racines restent françaises, et nous vous rendrons compte chaque jour de l’actualité imbriquée de nos deux pays, sans parti pris, avec notre rigueur journalistique.
