CalmBrain is an online mental health intervention used in schools, which teaches emotional regulation techniques.

CalmBrain is a revolutionary tool used in educational settings to regulate underlying disruptions to children’s emotional well-being, promoting positive mental health and flourishing children. Developed by Consultant Clinical Psychologist Dr Sarah Taylor, the approach is based on The Neurosequential Model (Dr Bruce Perry) and uses repetitive, rhythmic patterns to improve regulation, brain integration and enriched empathic cognitive thinking.

Incorporating neuroscience, Positive Psychology and the knowledge of primitive reflexes to work on the brain effectively, CalmBrain directly calms and helps to reorganise the lower areas of the brain where stress, anxiety and mental health are rooted.
