Imweru is located in the Lake Victoria Goldfields region of northern Tanzania. Imweru is located approximately 120 kilometer directly southwest of the city of Mwanza in northern Tanzania (approximately 160 kilometer west-southwest by road). Lubando is located in the Lake Victoria Goldfields region of northern Tanzania. Lubando is located approximately 75 kilometer directly southwest of the city of Mwanza in northern Tanzania (approximately 160 kilometer west-southwest by road) and 10 kilometer south of the town of Kasama.
