Building sustainable, resilient communities through green job skills

Environment360 is a non-governmental organization (NGO) that was established in 2014 in Accra, Ghana by the Afro-American founder and CEO, Cordie Aziz Nash. E360's aims is to take action against plastic pollution and foster waste management.
At E360, our goal is to empower waste collectors in the informal sector and promote effective community-based plastic collection. This is because we believe that community-based plastic collection represents an opportunity to enhance profits for waste collectors. Furthermore, selling used plastics to the industry fosters circular economy of plastic waste in Ghana. Our goal is to combat the pollution caused by waste in communities, landscapes and the oceans, and also reduce air pollution from open burning.
We also conduct seminars for waste collectors as well as for school students to educate them about the impact of plastics on nature, security risks, and stigma around waste collectors.

At Environment360, we have two departments that operate independently on their respective projects. One department is Pick-It, located in Tema and Kumasi, where plastic waste is purchased, cleaned, sorted, and sold. At this facilities we also support the development of green skills by providing technology, technical training and partnerships.

Next to Pick-It, the Circular Innovation Hub was launched in spring 2022 in Dodowa. The CIH envisions to collaborate with international partners to make an in-house 100% recycled plastic production profitable and thereby provide workspaces for women in the informal sector.
All venues are open to companies, universities and school groups interested in learning how to manage waste!
