La Coopération Maritime est une association loi 1901 qui défend la pêche artisanale. Elle a pour priorités le renouvellement des hommes et l’accès des jeunes aux responsabilités et à la propriété des navires ; le renouvellement de la flottille et la réorganisation du marché dans un cadre économique plus équitable pour l’amont.
La Coopération Maritime fédère l’essentiel du mouvement coopératif maritime français en regroupant quelques 130 structures coopératives ou filiales de coopératives :
- Des coopératives d’avitaillement pêche et cultures marines ;
- Des armements coopératifs ;
- Des organisations de producteurs fédérés ;
- Des structures de gestion ;
- Des mutuelles et des assurances maritimes ;
- Des cultures marines.
La Coopération Maritime a aussi pour mission de porter des projets pour la filière pêche :
• SOIP – Service d’Optimisation et d’Innovation à la Pêche dont l'objectif est de permettre aux professionnels de combiner les mesures en mer à l’aide des capteurs et les simulations numériques afin de diminuer leur dépendance énergétique par le biais d’un réglage optimisé de l’engin de pêche existant.
• PASAMER – Palangre Automatique pour le SAbre et le MERlu dont l'objectif est d'adapter la palangre automatique à la capture du sabre et du merlu afin de permettre de réduire les rejets lors de la capture de ces deux espèces et de réduire la consommation de carburant.
• PECHPROPRE dont l'objectif est d'établir un diagnostic sur la gestion actuelle des engins de pêche usagés et d'évaluer la faisabilité de la mise en place d'une filière volontaire nationale pérenne accessible à tous les professionnels. www.pechpropre.fr
• AMARREE – Accompagnement des MARins pêcheurs dans la réalisation d’économie d’énergie dont l'objectif est d'accompagner, d'informer et d'aider les entreprises de la pêche dans les démarches permettant de réduire les consommations de carburant.
