    L'IUT de Bobigny accueille chaque année près de 1000 étudiants en formation initiale et/ou en alternance. Il propose un enseignement technologique en adéquation avec les besoins des entreprises et des territoires.
    Au-delà, il a un rôle dans le domaine de la recherche et de la diffusion scientifique.
    4 DUT et 10 licences professionnelles, alternant enseignement théorique et pratique, forment à des métiers nouveaux et/ou à fort développement : le numérique, les jeux vidéo, le web et le webdesign, la finance, la gestion d'entreprise, le contrôle de gestion, les biotechnologies, l'intervention sociale, la gestion urbaine...
    Les étudiants disposent d'un enseignement à la pointe grâce à l'intervention de nombreux professionnels issus du monde de l’entreprise, d'une équipe à l'écoute et d'un suivi pédagogique individualisé.
    L'IUT fait partie de nombreux réseaux qui partagent expériences et réalisations : l'Université Sorbonne Paris Cité, l'Université Paris 13, les IUT de France, les IUT Ile de France, la Fondation Nationale des IUT. Il s'implique aussi sur le territoire en lien avec la communauté d'agglomération Est-Ensemble, et le projet du Grand Paris.
    En 2016, le pôle développement de l'alternance, de la formation continue et des relations extérieures a été créé au sein de l’IUT pour construire des partenariats avec le monde économique et accueillir toutes propositions pour nos étudiants et diplômés.
