Activatec develops technologies to produce biobased ingredients from renewable sources. We are specialised in the evaluation, scale-up and commercialisation of processes to produce biotechnological and plant-based ingredients and materials from currently unused and low-value organic sources.

Activatec is a B2B Partner that provides support to the industrial biotechnology sector in the form of research services on a contract basis. We are currently working within a number of international partner projects to design, develop and scale-up novel technologies for the production of emerging and high-value bio-based products.
