La Fondazione Mondo Digitale lavora per una società democratica della conoscenza coniugando innovazione, istruzione, inclusione e valori fondamentali, in modo che i benefici siano a vantaggio tutte le persone senza alcun tipo di discriminazione.
La nostra missione è promuovere la condivisione della conoscenza, l’inclusione e l’innovazione sociale, con attenzione alle categorie a rischio di esclusione (anziani, immigrati, giovani disoccupati ecc.). La sede è presso la Città Educativa di Roma, il centro delle buone pratiche e dell’innovazione, e noi operiamo a livello locale, nazionale e internazionale, elaborando modelli di intervento che possano essere replicati ovunque.
Lavorare in un’organizzazione non profit orientata alla conoscenza, con un programma integrato di ricerca, azione, sviluppo e implementazione, significa realizzare un ciclo continuo che affianca al lavoro teorico, di livello accademico, lo sviluppo di strumenti e progetti nell'ambito dell’educazione per la vita, del’istruzione, dell’inclusione digitale e dello sviluppo territoriale e di comunità. Collaboriamo con scuole, piccole e medie imprese, grandi aziende tecnologiche, organizzazioni non profit, autorità locali, regionali e nazionali, e attraverso partnership europee. Cerchiamo di rendere sempre e ovunque le persone protagoniste di ogni iniziativa, per questo la nostra presenza è così viva, radicata e diffusa sul territorio.
