The House of Pharma & Healthcare was founded in 2013 and is based in Frankfurt am Main. Das House of Pharma & Healthcare wurde 2013 gegründet und hat seinen Sitz in Frankfurt am Main. Es will das Profil des Pharma- und Healthcare-Standorts Hessen sowie Deutschlands schärfen und weltweit sichtbar machen. Zu diesem Zweck fördert es die Zusammenarbeit zwischen allen Akteuren der Gesundheits- und Pharmabranche in Deutschland. Es versteht sich als Netzwerk öffentlich-privater Partnerschaft, das verschiedene Interessen entlang der pharmazeutischen Wertschöpfungskette miteinander verknüpft, um Lösungen für die Herausforderungen im Gesundheitssystem zu entwickeln. Dementsprechend bindet es Wirtschaft, Wissenschaft und Politik ebenso ein wie Patientenorganisationen, Ärzte, Apotheker und Krankenkassen.
Durch die Integration, Verbreitung und koordinierte Anwendung biomedizinischen Wissens will das House of Pharma & Healthcare dazu beitragen, die gesellschaftspolitische Akzeptanz der Biowissenschaften zu stärken und die derzeitige Innovationslücke in der Arzneimittelentwicklung zu schließen.
