Accompagner et promouvoir les entreprises de la zone industrailo-portuaire Rochelaise vers la transition écologique et l’économie circulaire.
L’Association dite « Matières Energies Rochelaises » avec le sigle MER, née de la démarche collective d’Ecologie Industrielle et Territoriale portée par Port Atlantique La Rochelle et l’Union Maritime depuis mai 2016, a pour objet de fédérer et animer un réseau d’entreprises et d’acteurs engagés en faveur de la transition écologique, au service du territoire, et plus particulièrement de La Rochelle ouest.
Dans cet esprit, les actions de l’Association s’articuleront principalement autour de trois axes:
Animer un réseau d’entreprises et d’acteurs engagés en faveur de la transition écologique et une économie bas-carbone ;
Accompagner ses adhérents en vue de la mise en œuvre d’actions en faveur de la transition écologique, l’économie circulaire, la biodiversité, la mobilité ;
Promouvoir les bonnes pratiques et l’innovation dans ces domaines.
L’Association ne poursuit aucun but lucratif ou religieux.
