Description
  • Value proposition

Enabling research, expertise, and competence building to foster knowledge about how AI impacts humanity and society.

WASP-HS is a national research program in Sweden. The program enables cutting edge research, expertise, and competence building to foster interdisciplinary knowledge about how artificial intelligence (AI) and autonomous systems impacts humanity and society.

To do this, six building blocks are in place, an extensive research program – funding research on the multidisciplinary topic of the impact of artificial intelligence and autonomous systems on humanity and society, a national research program – educating young researchers. The building blocks also include capacity building and recruitment, outreach and collaboration with society, as well as international partnerships and activities.

The Wallenberg Foundations are investing up to SEK 660 million in the WASP-HS research program which is planned to run until 2028.
