    [Automatic translation follows] Inaugurated on July 2, 2012, the Saint-Cyr, Sogeti, Thales Cyberdefense and Cybersecurity Chair aims to better anticipate future cyber threats by combining the skills of the military and civilian worlds.

    Serving the Ministry of Defense, and with a joint vocation, its objective is to develop leading scientific thinking on the strategic dimensions of cyberspace, using an international research program bringing together public and private stakeholders. By approaching its research from the perspective of the Humanities and Social Sciences, it offers a complementarity to the technical scientific work already in progress.
    The chair aims to develop teaching in the field of cyberdefense in initial and continuing training, for officer cadets studying at the Saint-Cyr Coëtquidan schools and public and private decision-makers. The chair also aims to unite a national and international community by developing a network of partnerships throughout the world.

    Inaugurée le 2 juillet 2012, la chaire Cyberdéfense et cybersécurité Saint-Cyr, Sogeti, Thales a pour ambition de mieux anticiper les futures cyber menaces en associant les compétences des mondes militaire et civil.

    Au service du ministère de la Défense, et à vocation interarmées, son objectif est de développer une réflexion scientifique de premier plan sur les dimensions stratégiques du cyberespace, à l'aide d'un programme de recherche international fédérant acteurs publics et privés. En abordant ses recherches sous l'angle des sciences Sciences Humaines et Sociales, elle offre une complémentarité aux travaux scientifiques techniques déjà en cours.
    La chaire tend à développer des enseignements dans le domaine de la cyberdéfense en formation initiale et continue, pour les élèves-officiers en scolarité aux écoles de Saint-Cyr Coëtquidan et les décideurs publics et privés. La chaire vise également à fédérer une communauté nationale, et internationale, en développant un réseau de partenariats à travers le monde.
