    The FabLab München e.V. was founded in 2010. 500 square meters in the middle of Munich invite our (currently around 380) members to be creative together. Our workshop offers 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC machines, electronics laboratory, textile processing, wood workshop, an OPEN HARDWARE LAB and much more.
    The transfer of knowledge is one of our main association purposes, for this we have a separate educational workshop right next to the workshop - 3 wonderful rooms - 200m2 full of robotics, 3D printers, laser cutters, PCs, iPads, soldering stations, IoT and lots of attractive exhibits as an extracurricular learning location. Every day during the week there is a school class program for all types of schools on topics such as coding, 3D printing, laser cutting, electronics, soldering and animation. In the afternoon there are open MINT meetings and on weekends and during the holidays we offer an extensive making program for students aged 6 and over. Teacher training on MINT and making rounds off the offer. And because good MINT projects don't come about on their own and always require a lot of passion, time and work, we are happy to receive all kinds of support, be it from motivated course leaders, but also financially when it comes to MINT promotion and we invite school classes or run courses with kids who otherwise couldn't afford it - every euro helps. Rent, employees and materials and equipment have to be paid for from somewhere - and since we have also felt the effects of Corona and the Ukraine war, we are looking forward to active support from companies and foundations who find it just as important as we do that we offer our children a good education for the future.     Der FabLab München e.V. wurde 2010 gegründet. 500 qm mitten in München laden unsere (derzeit rund 380) Mitglieder dazu ein, gemeinsam kreativ zu sein. Unsere Werkstatt bietet 3D-Drucker, Lasercutter, CNC-Maschinen, Elektronik-Labor, Textilbearbeitung, Holzwerkstatt, ein OPEN HARDWARE LAB und vieles mehr.
    Die Vermittlung von Wissen ist eines unsere Hauptvereinszwecke, hierzu haben wir eine separate Bildungswerkstatt gleich neben der Werkstatt - 3 wunderbare Räume - 200m2 voll mit Robotik, 3D Druckern, Lasercuttern, PCs, IPads, Lötstationen, IoT und jede Menge ansprechenden Ausstellungsstücken als außerschulischer Lernort. Täglich findet unter der Woche Schulklassenprogramm für alle Schularten statt zu Themen wie Coding, 3D Druck, Lasercut, Elektronik, Löten und Trickfilm. Am Nachmittag gibt es offene MINT Treffs und am Wochenende und in den Ferien bieten wir ein umfangreiches Making Angebot für SchülerInnen ab 6 Jahren an. Lehrerfortbildungen zu MINT und Making runden das Angebot ab. Und weil gute MINT Projekte sich nicht von alleine erfinden und immer ganz viel Herzblut und Zeit und Arbeit einfließen, freuen wir uns über alle Arten der Unterstützung, sei es durch motivierte Kursleiter, aber auch gerne finanziell, wenn es um MINT Förderung geht und wir Schulklassen einladen oder Kurse mit Kids machen, die es sich sonst nicht leisten könnten - jeder Euro hilft. Miete, Angestellte und Material und Geräte wollen irgendwoher bezahlt werden - und da auch wir Corona und UkraineKrieg zu spüren bekommen haben, freuen wir uns auf tatkräftige Unterstützung von Firmen und Stiftungen, die es genauso wichtig finden wie wir, dass wir unseren Kindern eine gute Ausbildung für die Zukunft bieten.
