Terangaweb – l’Afrique des idées is an independent association that aims to promote the debate of ideas and reflection on subjects related to Africa. Our think tank is mainly composed of African students and doctoral students, as well as people who are simply passionate about – and well informed about – the African continent.
Terangaweb.com is the showcase of our association. This website meets several objectives. First of all, it is about making known the intellectual production of our think tank and the people associated with it. It also makes room for the productions and communications of other actors in the African public debate. Finally, our ambition is to make Terangaweb a resource portal for general public and expert intellectual production on Africa. We reference and classify quality articles, reports, studies, theses relating to Africa but scattered on the net.
Terangaweb.com wants to position itself as a site for reflection and debate for the general public, with young people as the core target. African youth is indeed a challenge in itself. The future of Africa, the youngest continent in an aging world, depends on their awareness of the challenges they face and the means to respond to them.

Notre think tank est majoritairement composé d’étudiants et de doctorants africains, ainsi que de personnes tout simplement passionnées par – et bien informées sur – le continent africain.
Terangaweb.com est la vitrine de notre association. Ce site internet répond à plusieurs objectifs. Tout d’abord, il s’agit de faire connaître la production intellectuelle de notre think tank et des personnes qui y sont associées. Il y est également fait place aux productions et communications d’autres acteurs du débat public africain. Enfin, notre ambition est de faire de Terangaweb un portail ressource en ce qui concerne la production intellectuelle grand public et experte sur l’Afrique. Nous référençons et classons les articles, rapports, études, thèses de qualité relatifs à l’Afrique mais éparpillés sur le net.
Terangaweb.com souhaite se positionner comme un site de réflexion et de débat grand public, dont la jeunesse constitue le cœur de cible. La jeunesse africaine constitue en effet un enjeu en soit. De sa prise de conscience des défis qui se posent à elle et des moyens d’y répondre dépend l’avenir de l’Afrique, continent le plus jeune dans un monde qui vieillit.
