La Cité des Métiers de Marseille et de Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur est membre du Réseau international "Cités des Métiers".
C'est une Association créée en 2002 sous l'impulsion de la Ville de Marseille et soutenue par l'Union Européenne, le Conseil Régional PACA, le Conseil Général 13 et L'Etablissement Public Euroméditerranée.
La Cité a ouvert au public le 22 mars 2005.
Plateforme d'information dans les domaines de l'Orientation, de la reconversion, de la Formation, de l'Emploi et de la Création d'activité, sa mission est de mettre à disposition tous les moyens nécessaires à la réalisation d'un projet professionnel.
Tous les publics sont concernés : collégiens, lycéens, étudiants, salariés, demandeurs d'emploi, chefs d'entreprises, retraités...de la région PACA.
