IBDE is an award-winning, membership organisation providing leadership in promoting commerce, international trade and investment flows, championing commercial and economic diplomacy, and building economic prosperity and security for the benefit of all.

We serve chiefly the business and diplomatic communities. In addition, we provide services to investment promotion agencies, governmental and non-governmental organisations, trade associations, and academic institutions, hence, involving a wider group of stakeholders.

Our members include diplomatic missions and some of the world’s leading multinational and mid-market companies from financial and professional services, energy, aerospace, defence, mining, manufacturing, healthcare, hospitality, technology and ICT sectors.

IBDE Leadership Council and advisory groups bring together 200+ business leaders, senior civil servants, ambassadors and minister counsellors for economic affairs, providing a unique platform for members to forge impactful connections and engage in constructive, forward-looking dialogues on the big issues of the day - which is crucial to achieving the vision for growth and strengthening international partnerships and cooperation.

Through commercial and economic diplomacy and high-profile events such as Chair's and CEO’s business briefings, investment forums, workshops, conferences, seminars and networking opportunities, we support international businesses and diplomatic missions in identifying strategic business opportunities, as well as exploring regulatory and political issues impacting global markets

In addition to membership, we provide event services, including consulting and event management from initial planning to execution
