La Fédération nationale des Offices Publics de l’Habitat est l’organisation professionnelle nationale qui regroupe 189 adhérents, dont 178 OPH et 11 SEM. Ces organismes d’HLM disposent d’un parc immobilier de 2,4 millions de logements et accueillent près de 5 millions de personnes, soit 8 % des ménages en France. Elle associe également des groupements d’organismes sous la forme de sociétés de coordination (elle compte 24 SC membres associés). Implantés dans tous les territoires - métropoles, villes moyennes, bourgs - et ancrés à des collectivités locales ou à leurs groupements, ils mettent en œuvre les politiques locales de l’habitat en construisant, en réhabilitant et en proposant des services de proximité aux habitants. La Fédération promeut les intérêts de ses adhérents et les représente auprès des instances nationales et des pouvoirs publics. Elle leur apporte également son expertise dans les domaines juridique, RH, financier et technique.
