OUR VISION
The Idis-Città della Scienza Foundation works to build a knowledge-based economy, capable of creating real, quality work and greater social cohesion. This project is developed through the enhancement of the territory's resources and attention to the European and Euro-Mediterranean context. The Foundation supports its territorial stakeholders (school networks, agencies, businesses, local authorities and associations) who become its cooperators and operational arms and contribute to experimenting with new cultural products and multiplying their effects with actions on the territory. Furthermore, the Foundation is aware that its objectives are played out, today, in the European and Euro-Mediterranean context, both for the objective conditions of contemporary scientific and technological research; both for the characteristics of the European integration process, and for the strategic position of Naples and the South, on the borders between the North and the South of the world.

LA NOSTRA VISIONE
La Fondazione Idis-Città della Scienza lavora per costruire un’economia basata sulla conoscenza, capace di creare lavoro vero e di qualità e maggiore coesione sociale. Questo progetto si sviluppa attraverso la valorizzazione delle risorse del territorio e l’attenzione al contesto europeo ed euro–mediterraneo. La Fondazione sostiene, infatti, i suoi stakeholder territoriali (reti di scuole, agenzie, imprese, enti locali e associazioni) che divengono suoi cooperatori e bracci operativi e contribuiscono a sperimentare prodotti culturali nuovi ed a moltiplicarne gli effetti con azioni sul territorio. Inoltre la Fondazione è consapevole che i propri obiettivi si giocano, oggi, nel contesto europeo ed euro-mediterraneo, sia per le oggettive condizioni della ricerca scientifica e tecnologica contemporanea; sia per le caratteristiche del processo di integrazione europea, sia per la posizione strategica di Napoli e del Mezzogiorno, ai confini tra Nord e Sud del mondo.
