We are Gestes Propres, an environmental association that has been working for over 50 years for a world without abandoned waste.
Around 1 million pieces of waste are abandoned in mainland France each year. And the consequences are enormous: threats to biodiversity and terrestrial and marine ecosystems, health risks, reduced attractiveness of territories and well-being together... The subject is major! At Gestes Propres, we act on different levers:
• We deploy national campaigns to raise awareness about the impact of abandoned waste on our environment - terrestrial and marine - which we also make available to cities in open source. Nous sommes Gestes Propres, une association environnementale qui œuvre depuis plus de 50 ans pour un monde sans déchets abandonnés.
Environ 1 million de déchets sont abandonnés en France hexagonale chaque année. Et les conséquences sont énormes : menace pour la biodiversité et les écosystèmes terrestres et marins, risques sanitaires, baisse de l’attractivité des territoires et du bien-vivre ensemble... Le sujet est de taille ! Chez Gestes Propres, nous agissons sur différents leviers :
• Nous déployons des campagnes nationales pour sensibiliser sur l’impact des déchets abandonnés sur notre environnement – terrestre et marin - que nous mettons aussi à la disposition des villes en open source. En parallèle, nous développons des programmes avec les acteurs du territoire pour inciter les citoyens à adopter les gestes propres au sein des espaces naturels.
• A travers une démarche de R&D et d’expérimentations menées à différentes échelles, nous cherchons à mieux comprendre les comportements et à tester des dispositifs de sensibilisation que nous élaborons dans une approche multi-acteurs.
