Created in 2000, Terres en cities is the network of local actors in urban agricultural and food policies. By relying on collective intelligence, the network supports its members to deal with the challenges of the agricultural and food transition.

Créé en 2000, Terres en villes est le réseau des acteurs locaux des politiques agricoles et alimentaires urbaines. En s’appuyant sur l’intelligence collective, le réseau accompagne ses membres pour faire face aux défis de la transition agricole et alimentaire.

Co-fondatrice des Assises de la transition alimentaire et de l'agroécologie, elle prend part à l'organisation des Assises (Montpellier 2024, Dijon 2026) et au travail de plaidoyer national et européen associés. La Charte de Terres en villes prône les valeurs du développement durable et l’hybridation des approches entre agronomie, urbanisme et écologie.
Ce sont aujourd’hui vingt-sept agglomérations ou métropoles qui constituent le réseau, chacune étant représentée conjointement par l’intercommunalité et la Chambre départementale d’agriculture.
