GEF œuvre depuis plus de 20 ans pour améliorer la mixité dans la sphère professionnelle grâce à des études, des événements et la Charte Mixité GEF. Avec la Charte Mixité GEF, l'association a élargi son champ d'action au-delà de ses membres fondateurs pour inclure d'autres associations de diplômé.es de l’enseignement supérieur et fédérer une communauté de plus 750 000 diplômé.es.
