Founded in 2014 in Waterloo, Ontario, Cognitive Systems Corp. was born to redefine how Wi-Fi is used globally and pioneer contextual motion understanding.

Founded by experts in silicon design, RF technology, physics, and cryptography, we revolutionize Wi-Fi by unlocking its true potential for wireless technology applications, from communication to innovative motion sensing.

Today, we license our comprehensive Wi-Fi Sensing software stack called WiFi MotionTM, integrating it into routers, mesh routers, gateways, and client devices. Collaborating closely with service providers and chipset manufacturers, we enable Wi-Fi devices to detect and interpret motion, integrating contextual awareness that offers valuable insights into indoor user behaviour.
