Dublin Port is the largest freight and passenger port in Ireland, with some €40 billion of trade flowing through each year. The port evolved over more than 300 years enabling the growth of Dublin city and is an essential cog in our national economy.

Situated in the thriving UNESCO biosphere of Dublin Bay, Dublin Port is an integral part of Dublin city. We welcome thousands of visitors a year to the Great South Wall, the Greenway and to events in our Pumphouse and Substation.

Dublin Port is operated and developed by Dublin Port Company, a State-owned commercial company, with all cargo handling activities carried out by private sector companies operating in intensely competitive markets within the Port.
