Founded in 1856, Banque Internationale à Luxembourg (BIL) is the oldest multi-business bank in the Grand Duchy. It has played an active role in the main stages of development of the Luxembourg economy. It currently operates in retail, private and corporate banking, as well as on the financial markets. Employing more than 2,000 people, BIL is present in the financial centres of Luxembourg, Switzerland (since 1984) and China.

Fondée en 1856, la Banque Internationale à Luxembourg (BIL) est la plus ancienne banque universelle du Grand-Duché. Depuis sa création, elle a joué un rôle actif dans les principales phases de développement de l'économie luxembourgeoise. Elle exerce aujourd’hui les métiers de banque de détail, banque privée, banque des entreprises et participe aux marchés de capitaux. Avec plus de 2.000 collaborateurs, la banque est présente dans les centres financiers au Luxembourg, en Suisse (depuis 1984) et en Chine.
