La Fondazione Politecnico di Milano nasce nel 2003 per volontà del Politecnico di Milano, delle principali istituzioni della città e della Regione Lombardia, con il supporto di alcune importanti realtà imprenditoriali.
La Fondazione rafforza il percorso di sviluppo dell’Ateneo rendendo l’innovazione fruibile, condividendo con le realtà produttive e con il territorio i molti punti di forza che caratterizzano la ricerca nei campi dell’ingegneria, dell’architettura e del design e dando slancio al progresso per costruire il futuro.
Grazie a un’esperienza ventennale a supporto dell’Ateneo sostiene la creazione di imprese e sviluppa progetti di innovazione in un’ottica internazionale per esportare l’eccellenza del Politecnico di Milano nel mondo.
