Créées en 1970, les Rencontres photographiques d'Arles, festival sans pareil du monde photographique, ont fêté en 2023 leur 54ème édition.
Plus de quarante expositions y sont présentées chaque année durant la période estivale dans des lieux historiques de la ville d'Arles. Pendant la semaine d’inauguration, des soirées de projections sont proposées au Théâtre Antique.
