At Habitat for Humanity Mexico, A.C. we promote and work for the right to adequate housing for all, especially for low-income families. Our work consists of facilitating human and community development, enhancing the resources that already exist among families and groups that make up the local community.
We work under the “Mutual Aid” system, where the labor is provided by the beneficiary families, who collaborate in the construction of their own house and that of others; the construction of the houses is supported by national and international volunteers and by corporate volunteer brigades.

En Hábitat para la Humanidad México, A.C. promovemos y trabajamos por el derecho a la vivienda adecuada para todos, en especial para familias de escasos recursos económicos. Nuestro trabajo consiste en facilitar el desarrollo humano y comunitario, potenciando los recursos ya existentes entre las familias y los grupos que conforman la comunidad local.
Trabajamos bajo el sistema de “Ayuda Mutua”, donde la mano de obra corre a cargo de las familias beneficiadas, quienes colaboran en la edificación de la casa propia y la de los demás; la construcción de las viviendas es apoyada por voluntariado tanto nacional como internacional y por brigadas de voluntariado corporativo.
