AlicanTEC es una Asociación integrada por empresas, emprendedores, otras asociaciones, startups, empresas y organismos comprometidos con el desarrollo de la economía digital y el emprendimiento tecnológico.
La misión de AlicanTEC es promover la imagen del Mediterráneo sur de España como área de desarrollo tecnológico y residencial, mediante su puesta en valor para startups y empresas tecnológicas internacionales, explotando uno de los hábitats de mayor calidad de vida en todo el mundo. Así mismo tratar de favorecer la cultura y el desarrollo de la economía digital en nuestro entorno.
AlicanTEC, es una experiencia piloto, referida a Alicante que nace con la vocación de trasladarse a otros espacios del Arco Mediterráneo en la Comunidad Valenciana, Murcia, Andalucía y Cataluña.
Pretende unir esfuerzos y formar redes profesionales y corporativas con todas aquellas iniciativas que tengan por objetivo desarrollar la economía digital y los sectores de futuro

- Promocionar el área para propiciar la atracción de empresas nacionales e internacionales
- Impulsar los empleos cualificados y de calidad asociados a la tecnología y los sectores de futuro
- Crear redes profesionales en el entorno y a través de una masa crítica relevante de emprendedores y empresas
