El Centro Europeo de Empresas e Innovación de Murcia -CEEIM - nace en 2007 como una FUNDACIÓN PRIVADA, sin ánimo de lucro, con la misión de promover el espíritu emprendedor en la sociedad, apoyar aquellas iniciativas empresariales de carácter innovador, y favorecer la consolidación y modernización de empresas mediante la innovación. El objetivo final de su actuación está orientado a impulsar la riqueza empresarial dentro de la Región de Murcia.
La Fundación tendrá como fin de interés general el fomento, promoción y desarrollo de la actividad económica, social y de innovación e investigación en el ámbito empresarial, en el más amplio sentido; y la prestación de los servicios y realización de actividades necesarias para la detección y desarrollo de nuevas iniciativas empresariales, así como la consolidación y modernización de las existentes, y especialmente las de tipo innovador o consecuencia del ejercicio de actividades científicas y de investigación, esto es, la búsqueda, captación, análisis y consolidación de iniciativas económicas que den lugar a empresas con un carácter innovador y diversificador, que enriquezcan la actual red de PYMES de la Región de Murcia.
