Le COBATY est une Organisation Internationale regroupant des associations autour de la Construction, de l’Urbanisme et de l’Environnement et qui réunit des professionnels de l’acte de bâtir.
Bordeaux Métropole fait partie des douze grandes métropoles françaises qui accueillent un tiers de la population française et qui produit deux tiers de la richesse nationale.
Notre association bordelaise est composée de plus de 120 membres, tous professionnels de l’acte de construire, de l’urbanisme et de l’environnement.
Nous comptabilisons, à ce jour, près de 50 métiers différents, tels que : Architectes, Ingénieurs, Promoteurs, Contrôleurs techniques de la construction, Géomètres, Avocats spécialisés, Industriels du bâtiment, Financiers, Assureurs, etc....
Nous comptons aussi parmi nous, des entreprises du bâtiment, des majors du BTP, de nombreux représentants institutionnels, qui participent fréquemment à nos travaux et échanges.
Nos membres, girondins, participent fortement au développement économique de BORDEAUX, de son agglomération et de la GIRONDE.
Nous héritons du travail de nos sages et de Jean SIAUT, notre président d’honneur de COBATY Bordeaux Métropole.
