Parc culturel urbain ouvert sur la ville, entre Paris et banlieue, La Villette fonde dès sa création, en 1986, une association pour promouvoir la diversité des usages in situ et des usagers quelle que soit leur origine sociale.
L’association de prévention du site de La Villette (APSV) est née.
D’abord orientée vers les jeunes et la prévention des incivilités, l’APSV est progressivement devenue un acteur social, au sein du site de La Villette et au-delà, à Paris comme dans le département de la Seine-Saint-Denis.
Chaque année, plus de 3 500 jeunes et adultes prennent part à une de nos actions.
L’APSV est au service des personnes rencontrant des situations de précarité, et particulièrement des jeunes.
Nous leur proposons notamment des actions et missions œuvrant à leur insertion professionnelle durable.
La plupart de nos dispositifs s’inscrivent dans le champ de la culture, pensée à la fois comme un secteur économique porteur d’avenir et comme un des fondements de l’épanouissement de tout un chacun.
L’APSV est aussi un « lieu ressources » pour tous les professionnels qui travaillent à réduire les inégalités. Nous mettons à leur disposition nos compétences d’action éducative, d’ingénierie sociale, d’études et de management de projets.
Sur nos sujets d’expertise – les jeunes, l’insertion, le travail social et la culture – nous assurons la conception et la maîtrise d’œuvre de démarches expérimentales.
