Manifattura Tabacchi a Firenze è uno dei principali progetti di rigenerazione urbana in Italia: prevede il recupero della storica fabbrica di sigari composta da 16 edifici che saranno trasformati in loft e residenze, uffici, retail, caffè e ristoranti, uno studentato, un hotel, oltre a ospitare importanti istituzioni come E-Rihs e Polimoda.
Dal 2018 Manifattura Tabacchi promuove un intenso programma di iniziative culturali in spazi temporanei appositamente recuperati fornendo un esempio di come le aree in via di riqualificazione possano essere una risorsa strategica per progettare un futuro più sostenibile e inclusivo nelle città.
Ad aprile 2023 ha aperto la Factory, polo creativo e workplace all’avanguardia in grado di attrarre una comunità internazionale di professionisti che vogliono lavorare e vivere a Firenze, in un contesto animato da spazi eco-friendly, tra cultura, moda, arte e design.


In Florence, Manifattura Tabacchi is one of the primary urban regeneration projects in Italy. It involves the restoration of a historic cigar factory comprised of 16 buildings, which will be transformed into lofts, residences, offices, retail spaces, cafes, and restaurants. The project also includes accommodations for students, a hotel, and the hosting of important institutions such as E-Rihs and Polimoda.
Since 2018, Manifattura Tabacchi has been promoting an extensive program of cultural initiatives in specially reclaimed temporary spaces, providing an example of how areas undergoing redevelopment can be a strategic resource for designing a more sustainable and inclusive future in cities.
In April 2023, the Factory opened its doors, serving as a cutting-edge creative hub and workplace capable of attracting an international community of professionals who want to work and live in Florence. It exists within a context animated by eco-friendly spaces, blending culture, fashion, art, and design.
