The Brest-Irish technopole supports project leaders who wish to develop an activity around an innovative concept on the north of Finistère.
Animating collective actions, promoting complementarities between partners, strengthening links between research players and business world at the service of territory development through innovation is our vocation for 30 years. For this purpose, the Technopôle animates the French Tech Brest + label and the World Campus Community of the Sea.
Constituted in Association Law 1901, the Brest-Irish technopôle brings together a network of more than 200 members [companies, research centers, grandes écoles, professional organizations].
The Brest-Irish technopole is also the name of the activity area that develops over 100 ha west of the Brest metropolis. 6,700 people work there. Fleats of business, research, higher education, are located:
- Thales, Cabasse, Ixblue, CLS, Dassault Systems, ECA ...
- Ifremer, Paul Emile Victor Institute
- UBO/European University Institute of the Sea, IMT Atlantique, National School of Engineers in Brest, Higher School of Agri -Food Engineers in Atlantic Brittany.

Le Technopôle Brest-Iroise accompagne les porteurs de projets qui souhaitent développer sur le nord du Finistère une activité autour d’un concept innovant.
Animer les actions collectives, favoriser les complémentarités entre les partenaires, renforcer les liens entre les acteurs de la recherche et le monde de l’entreprise au service du développement du territoire par l’innovation, c’est notre vocation depuis 30 ans. Dans cet objectif le Technopôle anime le label French Tech Brest + et la communauté Campus Mondial de la Mer.
Constitué en Association Loi 1901, le Technopôle Brest-Iroise fédère un réseau de plus de 200 adhérents [Entreprises, centres de recherche, grandes écoles, organismes professionnels].
Le Technopôle Brest-Iroise est également le nom de la zone d’activité qui se développe sur plus de 100 ha à l'ouest de la métropole de Brest. 6700 personnes y travaillent. Des fleurons de l’entreprise, de la recherche, de l’enseignement supérieur, y sont implantés :
- Thales, Cabasse, Ixblue, CLS, Dassault Systèmes, Eca...
- Ifremer, Institut Paul Emile Victor
