We create and share urban metabolism knowledge as well as accelerate its implementation in policy and practice.

Metabolism of Cities is a non-profit organization registered in Brussels, Belgium. Our goal is to advance the use of urban metabolism research in policy and practice. Our core vehicle to do so is our community-driven website (metabolismofcities.org), through which we disseminate information, make available open source tools, and organize community activities.
