Véritable laboratoire citoyen de fabrication, la Fabrique d’Objets Libres met à disposition de ses adhérents des outils et des machines de prototypage rapide à commande numérique.
Elle permet à chacun de concevoir et de fabriquer localement des “objets libres“ à partir de matières premières secondaires.
C’est une plate-forme pluridisciplinaire collaborative qui mêle les profils (techniciens, informaticiens, ingénieurs, scientifiques, bricoleurs, créateurs...) et les générations afin de réunir tous types de compétences.
Qu’est ce qu’un Objet Libre?
Tous nos objets sont “ open source “, c’est à dire librement reproductibles. Nous documentons les plans, les procédés de fabrication ainsi que les problèmes rencontrés. Nous laissons cette documentation en téléchargement libre sur internet afin de permettre à toute personne de les reproduire librement n’importe où dans le monde.
